All our Makeup artist courses are held in our Colour and Image Training Academy in Cork City or Limerick in the South of Ireland.

From Creative Basics to Advanced Colour Techniques

This intensive 2 day Make-Up course is designed for make-up enthusiasts to learn good techniques and principles when applying make-up an for those who have experience in the industry. The course will cover colour theory to techniques and trends for natural to special occasion and bridal make-up before moving on to catwalk, fashion shows, studio work and photographic make-up. There will be a balance between demonstration and hands on application.

Once you have learned how to analyse your own face and have practised how to create different looks you’ll feel more confident about applying make-up on someone else. You will be well able to interpret all make-up looks and briefs. With over 20 years in ths business and the highest rating results in the country, we are proud to have trained many of the big names in Ireland, including Sinead Cady who has recently launched her own book.

Product awareness
The tools, rules and latest techniques
Face shapes
Colour correcting, contouring/shading/highlighting/concealing
Eyebrow shaping
How to choose the correct foundations, eyeshadows and lipsticks for the persons unique skintone and colouring
Application of eye make-up for smoky/cat eye including eye shape & false lashes
