An Interview with Joan Cashman

For over twenty years, I’ve been working as a personal stylist in Cork, I have trained thousands of Image Consultants throughout Europe, the UK and Ireland, During this time I have been transforming the look and confidence of many clients.

If you’re wondering how I started my career, what drives me as a personal stylist, and how I got to where I am today, I recently spoke with RSVP Live, offering an insight into my life as a businesswoman in the fashion industry and hopefully inspire others to do the same.

I have always had a love for colour, style and fashion from such a young age, that I couldn’t ignore the calling to make a career out of my passion.

“I enjoy the variety”

From working with influencers and boutique owners to giving women the confidence to style themselves in a way that reflects their personality, my road to success has been driven by the opportunity to work with such an amazing variety of people.

As a personal stylist, my phone is never off the hook but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I have now been running the Colour and Image Academy in Cork for over twenty years, My work is my hobby and my passion and I a delighted to share my journey with you.

From providing personal styling, to training bloggers, running training courses, to hosting style night events, my life as a business owner in the fashion industry is truly thrilling and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
