My Analysis

To go about analysing a new client, the first thing I do is study their skin tone, hair and eyes in a private consultation. My colour analysis will help me determine their best colours and group them into three categories.

Depth – light or dark.
Clarity – soft blended tones or sharp electric shades.
Undertone – can be warm (yellow-based) or cool (blue-based).

If you have dark hair and dark eyes – brown, hazel-green, hazel-brown, hazel-grey.


Your neutrals (outer garments) are burgundy, mahogany, damson, black, black-brown, charcoal, navy.


DEEP & WARM – Your hair is dark chestnut brown; your skin is warm and can tan easily in the sun. Think Catherine Zita Jones and Penelope Cruz.

Colours that are a challenge for you are Icy shades, cool pinks (fuchsia, orchid, amethyst) white, light greys.


DEEP & COOL
– You have strong contrast, black hair, and pale porcelain skin. Think Lily Collins and Lupita Nyong’o’.

Your neutrals (outer garments) are taupe, stone, pewter, all shades of grey, light navy, winter white.LIGHT & WARM – Your skin is peachy and your hair a golden blonde. Think Julianne Hough, Kate Hudson, Diane Kruger and Kylie Minogue.

How you wear your colours: Vivid, rich, warm tones to the face. Avoid any dark or light colours on their own.

Your neutrals (outer garments) are all shades of brown – from camel, tan, mahogany to rich chocolate, olive, mossy greens, light navy, and teal. You’re Warm & Soft if you have brown or hazel-green eyes and you’re Warm and Clear if your eyes are blue.
